Kolkata Knight Riders, with two wins and a loss are in the fourth spot and have played a match less than the top three teams in the table.

Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings would look to displace one of the teams in the top four, while Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians would look to win as many games as possible to entertain any hopes of making it to the playoffs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals are languishing right at the bottom of the table and would need to get their act together in order to progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.
