     Winifred Ida Kingscote was born on 24 April 1862 at 34 Charles Street, Berkeley Square, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Sir Robert Nigel Fitzhardinge Kingscote and Lady Emily Marie Curzon.1 She married George Henry Hugh Cholmondeley, 4th Marquess of Cholmondeley, son of Charles George Cholmondeley, Viscount Malpas and Susan Caroline Dashwood, on 16 July 1879 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 25 October 1938 at age 76.3
     Her married name became Cholmondeley. After her marriage, Winifred Ida Kingscote was styled as Marchioness of Cholmondeley on 16 December 1884. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.4

     George Hugh Cholmondeley, 6th Marquess of Cholmondeley was born on 24 April 1919.1 He was the son of George Horatio Charles Cholmondeley, 5th Marquess of Cholmondeley and Sybil Rachel Betty Cecile Sassoon.1 He married Lavinia Margaret Leslie, daughter of Colonel John Leslie and Margaret Nanette Helen Gilliat, on 14 June 1947.1 He died on 13 March 1990 at age 70.1

     Sybil Rachel Betty Cecile Sassoon was born on 20 January 1894. She was the daughter of Sir Albert Edward Sassoon, 2nd Bt. and Aline Caroline de Rothschild.1 She married George Horatio Charles Cholmondeley, 5th Marquess of Cholmondeley, son of George Henry Hugh Cholmondeley, 4th Marquess of Cholmondeley and Winifred Ida Kingscote, on 6 August 1913.1 She died on 26 December 1989 at age 95.
     Her married name became Cholmondeley. After her marriage, Sybil Rachel Betty Cecile Sassoon was styled as Marchioness of Cholmondeley on 16 March 1923. She was Superintendent of the Women's Royal Naval Service between 1939 and 1946.2 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.2

     Sir Albert Edward Sassoon, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Edward.3 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Sassoon.
