     From 19 January 1929, her married name became Perceval-Maxwell.1

     Terence Robert Beaumont Sanders was born on 2 June 1901.1 He was the son of Robert Massy Dawson Sanders and Hilda Augusta Katherine Beaumont.1 He married, firstly, Marion Macdonald, daughter of Colonel Archibald William Macdonald, on 10 December 1931.1 He married Deborah O'Donoghue, daughter of Daniel C. O'Donoghue, on 2 October 1965.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1922 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was commissioned in 1923 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was an Olympic rower in 1924.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was assistant chief engineer, Armanent Design between 1943 and 1945.1 He was Principal Director of Technology Development (defence) between 1946 and 1951.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1950.1 He retired from the military in 1951, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Royal Artillery (TA.)1 He was engineering advisor to the British Standards Institute between 1952 and 1972.1 He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Civil Engineers (F.I.C.E.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (F.I.Mech.E.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey in 1967.1
