     Rear-Admiral Hon. George Fraser was born on 4 March 1887.¹ He was the son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew.² He married, firstly, Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope, daughter of John Montague Spencer-Stanhope and Ida Mary Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, on 11 June 1920.¹ He and Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope were divorced in 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Elizabeth Barnes, daughter of Reginald Barnes, on 2 October 1934.¹ He died on 13 June 1970 at age 83.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1920.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope was the daughter of John Montague Spencer-Stanhope and Ida Mary Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Hon.      He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1942 and 1946 in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1946 and 1948 in the Royal Artillery.¹
