John Gretton, 1st Baron Gretton was born on 1 September 1867.1 He was the son of John Gretton and Marianne Louisa Molineux.2 He married Hon. Maud Helen Eveleigh-de Moleyns, daughter of Dayrolles Blakeney Eveleigh-de Moleyns, 4th Baron Ventry and Harriet Elizabeth Frances Wauchope, on 24 April 1900.2 He died on 2 June 1947 at age 79.1

Katherine Louisa Gretton was the daughter of John Gretton and Marianne Louisa Molineux.2 She married Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 10th Bt., son of Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. and Mary Harriet Gore-Langton, on 8 October 1903.1 She died on 26 November 1938, without issue.1
