Sir Robert Long, 6th Bt. was born in 1705 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir James Long, 5th Bt. and Hon. Henrietta Greville.1 He married Lady Emma Child, daughter of Richard Tynley, 1st Earl Tylney of Castlemaine and Dorothy Glynne, on 29 May 1735 at Woodford, Essex, EnglandG.1 He died on 10 February 1767.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 23 February 1767.2
