ISTANBUL, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Turkish authorities have apprehended three persons suspected of havking links with the notorious group, the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), in southern city Gazi Antep. Security authorities said in a statement released on Saturday that the trio were nabbed, late on Friday, in the city center, as part of the ongoing security campaign against ISIL. The detainees will face legal procedures after undergoing routine medical checkups. Ankara has repeatedly declared detention of persons suspected of having affiliations with the group or for being members it, in addition to detaining people sneaking into the country illegal or trying to enter neighboring Syria with necessary permits. Turkey has denied accusations that it has been facilitating passing of "terrorists" to and from Syria as well as illegal immigrants from the war-stricken nation to European countries. ISIL has recently claimed responsibility for a bombing attack in Turkey. (end) ta.rk
