The Swedish defence and aerospace group Saab said on Friday (19 December) that it had won a USD14m multi-sensor director systems contract in South Korea.

The contract, awarded by the Korean defence electronics company MteQ Systems Inc, covers CEROS 200 fire control systems for installation onboard the South Korean navy's PKX-class patrol boats.

The contract also involves a technology transfer programme and includes an option for further systems to the value of approximately USD25m, Saab said.

One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.6 British pounds (GBP).
