SORBUS CASHMIRIANA Many rowans or mountain ashes have red, orange or even pink berries, but the Kashmir rowan is recognisable at this time of the year by its drooping clusters of white berries. These linger on the tree considerably longer.

It also distinguishes itself in spring with its pink-tinged flowers attractive to bees.

Like other rowans it's also great for autumnal colour, its elegant pinnate foliage maturing to red, orange and golden before dropping in autumn. Its small stature and gently spreading habit along with its multi-seasonal interest make it a beautiful specimen for a small garden.

Grow in full sun or dappled shade in moist, well-drained soil.
