Khor Fakkan goalkeeper dies in car accident.

Summary: Player was on his way to training when car overturned

Fujairah: Well-known Emirati goalkeeper Bilal Mal Allah Al Kindi, who was involved in an accident on the Fujairah-Khor Fakkan Road on September 12, succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Tuesday.

The 27-year-old was driving towards Khor Fakkan when he lost control of his vehicle, causing the car to overturn.

The police operations room received a call around 5pm on September 12 reporting the incident.

Al Kindi was moved to Fujairah hospital, and subsequently transferred to the ICU of Cleveland Hospital in Abu Dhabi where he died on Tuesday morning.

Tributes for the footballer poured in on social media.

Funeral prayers were held after Asr prayer at Abu Bakr Al Siddiqui Mosque in Fujairah and his burial took place at Fujairah cemetery.
