HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Horseshow concludes.

Manama, Feb. 29 (BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the Late HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Arabian Horseshow concluded on Sunday at Rashid Equestrian Club on the fields of the Military Sports Federation in Al Raffa, Sakhir.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation to the members of the organising committee for ensuring the success of the show, which reflects the deep-rooted relations between Arabian horse and the Bahraini society.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended on the participating horse owners and stables in the show. He said the good performance shown in the competition proves the interest of Bahrainis in participating in such shows and contests.

HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of BREEF awarded the participating referees and judges in the show by the end of the day.

Results:

The competitions of the final day included seven categories. The first and second contests were for mares of the age of one year and were separated on two categories. Zaeem Al Jabiriya won the first contest and Noor Al Sitrawi won the second.

The third and fourth contests were mares the age of two and three years. Dhahab Ajman dominated the two-year-old contests and SS Zilzal won the fourth contest.

In the stallions aged between 4 -- 6 years contest, Zothar won the first place. As for stallions aged between 7 -- 9 years A J Bahi was crowned first.

The last contest of the day was titled "Champion of Champions" and was dominated by Noor Al Sitrawi who won the golden medal of the contest, while Nasser Al Sultana and Warith Al Nasseem won silver and bronze, respectively.
