In the early 1930s, Rex Terpening went to work as an air engineer for Canadian Airways in the Northwest Territories. In this memoir, he draws upon his meticulously kept journals to offer a detailed account of his experiences flying with bush pilots on daily operations and keeping their planes in working order. The text is accompanied by hundreds of b&w photos from the author's private collection. Distributed in the U.S. by Graphic Arts Center Publishing. This is a paperbound reprint of a 2003 book.
