A double for Ruby?

Byline: PETER O'HEHIR

BEN Button and Lagostovegas might give Ruby Walsh a double for Willie Mullins at Listowel.

Seeking a hat-trick and stepping back up in trip, Ben Button will be very tough to beat in the finale, the three-mile Devon Inn Hotel Handicap Hurdle following wins in Galway and Sligo.

And Lagostovegas, raised 9lb. for her most recent victory in Killarney, has solid claims in the featured Ladbrokes Ireland Handicap Hurdle, in which she should confirm that form with Top Of the Ra, Timiyan and Plinth.

Willie Mullins should also triumph with long odds-on favourite Coquin Mans in the Island Amateur Race.

In the flat action, back-to-form Bayan, runner-up to Snow Falcon in Killarney, appeals in the Behans Horseshow Bar & Restaurant, in which Mr. Everest looks the chief threat.

And Tim Doyle's Punches Pious, proven in testing ground, might take advantage of a low draw in the Byrne Family Handicap. The Last Indian, up a total of 32lb. for two recent wins, is probably still the danger.
