WASHINGTON -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of approximately 2,900 cribs imported by LaJobi Inc. of Cranbury, N3.
CPSC and LaJobi received 33 reports of the drop side detachment due to spring pin failure. In two instances, children became entrapped and one child fell from the cribs.
The recalled wood cribs were made in China and sold at Babies "R" Us between December 2006 and December 2007.
In late April nearly 96,000 cribs made by Jardine Enterprises of Taipei, Taiwan, were recalled from Toys "R" Us and other retailers.
