sa·ga·na·ki

 (sä′gə-nä′kē)
n.
A Greek appetizer made of cheese that is dredged in flour, fried or flambéed, garnished with lemon juice, and traditionally served in the same pan in which it is cooked.

[Greek saganáki, little frying pan, saganaki (made in such a pan), diminutive of sagáni, two-handled copper pan, from Turkish sahan, ultimately (possibly via Persian ṣaḥn, large dish, platter) from Arabic ṣaḥn, dish, bowl; see ṣḥl in Semitic roots.]
