The Toronto Raptors snapped its five-game losing streak in a thrilling 104-101 win against the Golden State Warriors on Monday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 23 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Jakob Poetl added 13 points and 13 rebounds. Ochai Agbaji finished with 12 points, including the crucial basket with 1:33 left. Chris Boucher had 18 points off the bench, including 17 in the final period.
The Raptors (9-31) came into the game having lost 16 of its previous 17 games. Coming off a three-game road trip, this is the first match of a two-game homestand for Toronto.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry led all scorers with 26 points and Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points for the Warriors. This is Golden State's (19-20) second straight loss and the fourth in their previous five. The Warriors are currently outside of the playoff picture in the Western Conference.

Golden State is coming off a loss against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, 108-96. Golden State was without superstar Stephen Curry, who rested his knee on the second game of a back-to-back. This is the third game of a four-game road trip that will culminate at Minnesota on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Toronto will host the defending NBA champions Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
Monday's matchup is the first time the Warriors and the Raptors met this season. They will face each other again on March 19 at Golden State. They split their two meetings last season.

The Golden State Warriors trailed 28-26 at the end of the opening quarter. Stephen Curry led all scorers with eight points on 40% from 3 (2-of-5). Andrew Wiggins added six points. For the Toronto Raptors, Scottie Barnes and Gradey Dick contributed seven points each. Barnes added six rebounds.
At the half, the Raptors still clinged on a two-point lead, 52-50. Barnes led Toronto with 14 points and eight rebounds. Jamal Shead came off the bench to score a career-high first half with nine points (3-of-4 from the 3-point line). The Raptors shot 41.7%, while Golden State hit 34%. Curry had 15 points at the half, shooting 4-for-10, including 3-for-7 on 3-pointers.
The Warriors opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run and built a narrow 78-75 lead heading into the final quarter. The Warriors were 18-3 when leading after three quarters.
In the final period, Chris Boucher scored 17 of his 18 points. The Raptors, as a team, scored 29 points.
With 45 seconds left, Curry missed a 3-point shot that would have given the Warriors the lead. Instead, the Raptors capitalized on the fast break that ended with Ochai Agbaji's dunk. With seconds left, Buddy Hield had a chance to tie the game but missed. He struggled throughout the game, finishing with only eight points (shooting 3-for-13, including 2-for-10 from 3) in 33 minutes.
