Former Boston Celtics center and fan favorite Tacko Fall is returning to China to play in the Chinese Basketball Association, better known as the CBA.

Fall has agreed to a contract with the CBA's Nanjing Monkey Kings, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Fall, 27, went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft following a successful four-year stint at the University of Central Florida. He played for two teams — the Cleveland Cavaliers and Celtics — across his three seasons in the NBA.

The 7-foot-6 center averaged 2.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.1 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game across two seasons and 26 total regular-season appearances as a member of the storied Celtics franchise.

Fall isn't the only former NBA player on the Nanjing Monkey Kings' roster. The team also has Antonio Blakeney, a former Louisiana State University star who went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. Blakeney spent two seasons with the Chicago Bulls and averaged 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game in 76 regular-season games with the franchise (three starts).

Celtics fans will certainly be rooting for Fall to succeed in the CBA, seeing as he was beloved during his short time in Boston.
