Management needs to stop ghosting employees

The good thingsConsistent hours for a casual employee with good pay, the experience, helpful coworkers
The challengesA few thieves here and there, the manager's lack of communication (lacking to almost non-existent), having to be held back 10-20 minutes after the shift ends in order to count the money on the register with no pay, not trained for everything needed for the position (e.g. operating the POS to its full extent, recharging credit, filling out a timebook)

Worst job I have ever had!

The good thingsThe previous staff and management.
The challengesThe management at this store treat their employees very poorly and are always replacing loyal and hardworking employees with others who will cost less money to roster on. The environment here is also very toxic, with most employees constantly stressed and anxious due to a lack in job security and unprofessional behaviour from management.

My experience has been honest but stressful.

The good thingsThe people I meet and talk to the customers are usually very memorable and not at all awkward. My peers and coworkers are also rather lax.
The challengesI have been kept overtime more times than I can count because the management didn't bother to put someone on after me and then when I'm ready to leave they ask me to stay on another hour. A complete disregard for proper schedules and incredibly unprofessional all around.

dosnt mattter how hard you work and effort you put in there is no growth within your career from when you start employment as any higher position is made vacant it is filled by an external emplyee with no promotions within the already established team

The good thingsi enjoyed the staff. majority of us got along with one another and strived as a team to complete our tasks.
The challengescustomer service is the biggest challenge there. you could be the most helpful to customers and they would treat us in an awful manner when they so please.
