Freelance Event Administration Officer

Reports To: Operations Manager/Administrative Manager

Job Summary:

The Freelance Event Administration Officer is responsible for providing


administrative support on a contract or freelance basis. This role involves
handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation
of the organization. The Freelance Event Administration Officer will work
closely with the management team and other staff to support various
functions, including data entry, document management, scheduling, and
communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Perform data entry, maintain records, and manage databases.

Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls in a professional manner.

Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.

Manage calendars for senior staff, ensuring efficient time management.

Assist in organizing travel arrangements and itineraries.

Document Management:

Maintain and organize digital and physical files.

Ensure documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal and external


communications.

Project Assistance:

Provide support on special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Conduct research and compile data for various projects.

Assist with event planning and execution as required.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with different departments to ensure administrative needs are


met.
Provide support and assistance to other administrative staff as needed.

Qualifications:

University Student or Graduated, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in


Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Fluent in English ((both written and spoken)

Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and


other relevant software.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a remote or freelance work environment.

Familiarity with project management tools and software.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Work Environment:

The Freelance Administration Officer will primarily work remotely, with


occasional on-site tasks as required. The role requires a reliable internet
connection and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work
setting.

Salary:

This is a freelance position for 2 months project. Salary is negotiable and


will be discussed during the hiring & interview process.
