If you are having bronchospasm, I'm
surprised he didn't prescribe a short course
of pred. It's the normal treatment for this
sort of thing.

Albuterol wears off after a few hours and


you're right back at square one once it
wears off.

hey im going thru something similar but i


am on pred, the oral steroid and im scared
to come off it just incase it alls starts back
up, did your spasm ever go away? was it
asthma you ended up having? :( my last
dose of predd was this morning and my
appointment with pulmonologist isn't until 4
weeks from now so im worried lol

Yes it does seem to be a form of mild


asthma. I don't normally use my
inhaler much these days. It seems to
be triggered by allergies, or coming off
a bad respiratory infection. But not
very common for me, luckily. The
inhaler helps with symptoms a bit, but
eventually it just goes away as the
spasms subside.
