TASK 1:
1. Learn and understand by heart the Mission and Vision of the school.
2. Abide the school rules and regulations (policies).
3. Keep in mind that you belong to an institution that produces professionals;
4. Always remember the core value of St. Clare College

REFLECTION
 As a student of this respectable institution, it is a must that I have learned and
understand the school’s mission and vision by heart. Because the mission and vision of
the school serves as the guide for the students to know their direction and choose path
in order to reach their dreams. It’s like the secret formula that is created by the school,
its administrators and professors with hope to produce globally competitive professionals
whose knowledge, values and dignity are beyond par. It’s also important that as student
we abide the school rules and regulations or policies especially because I am taking up
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science it’s a must for me to follow more pre-cautiously.
Rules and regulations, as mentioned, are put in place to provide order and standards in
the school, and any breach of it can create an imbalance. It disciplines and teaches
students accountability and responsibility especially for those students who may not be
behaving in ways that adhere to the school's policies. Like I have said earlier, rules and
regulations in a school are very important, for these enable discipline for students, make
a school orderly, in harmony and maintain the quality the school. Aside from that,
following the school’s rules and regulations shows respect not just for the school and its
administrators but to also everyone including its teachers, staffs and even students like
me. As a student, I have to always keep in my mind that I belong to a respectable
institution that produces professionals and of course as a member of it I have to make
sure that I’m always displaying a dignified manner wherever I go for my actions, words
and thoughts will not just reflect on myself but the school that I go to. I must always be
mindful and careful on whatever I am doing especially if I am in a public place I must be
always in my best behavior because as a student I am representing the school wherever
I go in order not to tarnish the name of the school and of course as a sign that I respect
the respectable institution that I am in. But take note, being a professional not only has
something to do with a diploma because even if you did not graduate from college, you
can be called a professional as long as you perform your duties well and you are
behaving in a good and positive way because that only means you are not just educated
academically but also in terms of values. And lastly, of course as student I must always
remember the core values of my alma mater the St. Clare College of Caloocan because
it shapes the culture and reflect what the school and student’s values are. Core values
are the essence of the school's and student’s identity by reflecting the community's
beliefs about what it considers to be the most important desirable qualities to guide
everybody's behavior. Aside from that, school’s core values help us students to
understand right from wrong and also help shape our mindsets and behavior as future
adults. It also helps us build our character.
