    To terminate the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of


    Homeland Security and to prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish
    any other similar Board, and for other purposes.

    IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

    Mrs. BOEBERT introduced the following bill; which was referred to the

    A BILL
    To terminate the Disinformation Governance Board of the
    Department of Homeland Security and to prohibit the
    use of Federal funds to establish any other similar
    Board, and for other purposes.

    1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-


    2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
    3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting Free Speech


    5 Act’’.

    1 SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF THE DISINFORMATION GOVERN-

    2 ANCE BOARD.

    3 The Disinformation Governance Board of the De-


    4 partment of Homeland Security is hereby terminated.
    5 SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE

    6 DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD.

    7 No Federal funds authorized to be appropriated or


    8 otherwise made available to the Department of Homeland
    9 Security may be made available to establish any other en-
    10 tity that is substantially similar to the Disinformation
    11 Governance Board terminated by section 2.
