WHLP also helps parents to plan a topic being taught to the learners. I posted it
in our group page, and also send it to our group in messenger. As a teacher of modular
mode of learning, it is difficult for us to help parents in teaching their child. Aside
from modules, we also need to send video lessons, if ever they can afford data
connection, they can watch it and learn from it. Our grade conducted an online
intervention class on subjects and topics that we assessed the students having
difficulty , to help the learners in this difficult times and
also to monitor their progress. During our online class we were able to have
interaction with our students thru google meat and were able to assess them futher
and help them in answering the learning tasks in their WHLP with uses of their
papers and pencil and some interactive games. With this strategies, we were able to
help our learners in any flatforms who are struggling in this challenging times.

It is very important that all of the activities and assessment are aligned
with the learning competencies to make sure that it is also result to a quality
education. I also make sure that the instruction given are clear and valuable.
Every distribution, we make sure to give the parents WHLP aside from the
modules per se. This WHLP will serve as their guide to which activities are
needed to accomplish in a specific date. In making assessment tools, it is
important to align them with MELC.

I made different strategies in organizing our assessment and learning tools.
Aside from extending online kamustahan with my learners, we also have our group
page in Facebook so that my learner can visit and read it from time to time. I prefer
to convert some of the modules and summative assessment in jpeg. Format so that it
is not difficult for them to download it in soft copy. Also those blurd and riso copies
can be clear by visiting our facebook page. Some of the learning outcome, parents
send videos of their child while it is reading, or doing the performance assessment.
ANNOTATIONS:
We are in modular modality but I also made video lessons and power
point presentation posted in our group chats and uploaded to youtube to
even help my students in learning the lesson . I see to it that all the video
lessons are entertaining so that my students are motivated to study the
lessons. We also conducted online classes aside from our weekly online
kamustahan for them to fully understand lessons that are difficult to them.

The Webinars/seminars help me a lot, especially when I was new in this
public institutions. Professional growth was build inside me which I can
apply in my profession. Together we are one. Having webinar also build
our strong relationship with my colleagues towards professional
development goals. I also realized my strength and weaknesses because
of different webinars
Our school is actively participating in some various seminars since
then. We were privileged to have the chance to attend to different
Virtual Seminars that would help us to be more competent and capable
teachers.
Reflective Summary
This school year has been challenging for all specially in the
field of education. So many adjustments had to be made. Our
flexibility and ability to adapt to the current situation was tested.
Different ways and strategy were made in the benefit of our
learners. We as teachers made ways and strategies to cope up with
our current situations. The continuous professional growth and
development is a must for us teachers specially in this trying times.
It can help inspire, give new ideas and provides a fresh viewpoints
to the teacher which are beneficial for the learners.

Aside from checking the outputs of my students after the Online session
with the learners, I give feedbacks by sending a message to the parents in order to
recognize the progress and also to accommodate the needs of the learners.
Feedbacks help to improve more their learning. I also had this when I had a
Home Visitation with one of my learners. I made feedbacks thru online
kamustahan and thru home visitation and even text and call to make sure that my
students are properly guided.

In the New Normal different virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Google
Meet were used for virtual communication now a days. It has been the best and
temporary solution we have in order to stay connected with our colleagues. Holding
virtual meetings anytime teachers have something to tackle on or if we have
important trainings. With this our colleagues is one of our support systems in this
time of new normal. We have a GC faculty for communication and collaboration
with fellow teachers helps us communicate better in this difficult times. GCs helps
us to easily disseminate needed information, raise some concerns and to have quick
brainstorming to address the issues of our pupils.

ANNOTATIONS:
The Parents , guardians and other stakeholders are the biggest part of role
of this new normal of education. With the help from them their patience
and encouragement for their pupils is the best way to make this new normal
education work. Distribution and Retrieval of modules are well organized to
settle them by practicing social distancing ,proper wear of face mask and
face shield and monitoring minimum health protocol. Parents also help to
engage their pupils to read daily every morning by using the reading
materials that I give to them.
