The right time to drink milk

Ayurveda emphasizes that all healthy individuals can consume Ksheera (milk) & everyone should take milk. It is beneficial for healthy individuals too, and there is no better aphrodisiac & life-prolonger than milk. In Ayurveda Milk is considered as Jivaniya (life-supporting). A regular intake of milk will save from all diseases and also slow down the ageing process. Milk on its own is a medicine. If taken with other drugs or herbs, it serves as a tonic or purifier. There is no specific time to consume milk still Ayurveda recommends evening time for consumption of milk due to its sleep-inducing properties.

Milk has been considered a complete diet in Ayurveda. It contains all the essential nutrients that the body needs. By the way, milk can be consumed anytime during the day. But drinking it at night eliminates complete body fatigue and gives you deep sleep. At the same time, milk is heavy to digest, so if it is drunk in the morning, then energy remains in the body throughout the day. Elderly people should drink milk in the afternoon. According to Ayurveda, milk should not be drunk with any other food, as it is difficult to digest. Milk can be consumed after two hours of eating food.

The right time to eat yoghurt

Curd should not be devoured during the night as it will increase Kapha in the body which will lead to various diseases, If in any case, a person wants to take curd during the night it should be made with sugar, honey or Amalaki best time to consume buttermilk is as a breakfast as it acts as a primary digestive aid in the diseases associated with digestive fire. For general digestive issues, takar must be taken as breakfast. 

According to Ayurveda, yoghurt is very beneficial if eaten before noon. Eating curd on an empty stomach may cause BP (therefore, eat breakfast instead). Many people eat yoghurt at night which is wrong. Yoghurt is cold, so eating it at night can cause cough, cold and lung disease as well as joint pain. Curd should never be heated before eating. According to Ayurveda, if sugar is added to yoghurt and eaten, it also gives us instant energy for the day.

The right time to drink buttermilk

According to Ayurveda, buttermilk can be drunk at any time of the day. You can drink it after meals. However, it is important to pay attention to the weather and place before consuming it in the evening or at night. If you have stomach problems, drink buttermilk on an empty stomach in the morning.
