Colleen Coyne grew up in East Falmouth, Massachusetts, playing high school hockey at Tabor Academy in Marion on Cape Cod, and then played for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. At UNH she made All-American in both hockey and lacrosse, and in her final year of hockey, she also served as assistant coach for the Wildcats. Coyne was a five-time member of the US National Team (1992, 1994-97), a four-time member of the US Women’s Select Teams, playing in three World Championships. Coyne lives in Massachusetts, and works as an Internet marketing consultant for a startup software company. She was recently elected to the USA Hockey Executive Committee as an athlete representative, and also serves on the board of directors for Celebrities For Charities.
