Chicago Med plot
Chicago Med is an emotional rollercoaster through the daily chaos of the city's busiest hospital and the courageous doctors who keep the hospital afloat. They will tackle unique new cases inspired by current events. Gradually they create a bond with the hectic pace of the operating room in the background. No idea why this is rated so highly. Looks nice, but otherwise a series that completely falls into the well-known hospital template. Then I prefer New Amsterdam, which is somewhat pamphlet-like but therefore more original.

Chicago Med is the youngest member of Dick Wolf's Chicago Franchise. It's about the ins and outs of the Emergency Room at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. They have a revolutionary emergency trauma bay called Baghdad where emergency operations can be performed, similar to a field hospital in a warzone hence the name Baghdad. It is an exciting series with good characters and interesting and compelling stories. Although it is a standalone series, they do interact with the other Chicago series as is the case with all series in the Dick Wolf Universe. The Chicago Fire paramedics in particular regularly walk through the image. There is also a regular crossover episode with 1 or both series and Molly's bar is also the favorite bar of the doctors and nurses. It is definitely recommended for fans of the other series from the Chicago Franchise.
