Detroit Red Wings goaltender Petr Mrazek needed to make only 14 saves Friday as the Czech Republic defeated Slovenia 5-1 at the World Championship in Paris, France.

Roman Horak scored a pair of goals for the Czechs, who improved to 2-2-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in Group B.

Mrazek has a 2.28 goals-against average and .889 save percentage in three games.

The Czechs have two games remaining in pool play -- Sunday against France and Tuesday vs. Switzerland.
