"First viewing - Apr. 30th This was fun enough, though I really expected to laugh more than I did. I haven't read the books it's based off of, but my daughter has & we saw it together. The ensemble cast makes it worthwhile, & the animation is solid. The plot is similar to Despicable Me to an extent, but feels like its own entity. It's nothing great, but it's a decent watch which I may revisit once or twice."
