That’s where it all started for Julia Roberts. I mean, the year before she made ‘Mystic Pizza’ which was her first lead part but it is with this movie that the mainstream audience noticed her and, of course, a year later, she would be in ‘Pretty Woman’ and the rest is simply history. This is one of my all time favorites. Cried all the way through. I have
seen this about 5 or 6 times and its just like I'm seeing it for the first time. I love the cast..every single one of them.!!

Description: Revolving around Truvy's Beauty Parlor in a small parish in modern-day Louisiana, STEEL MAGNOLIAS is the story of a close-knit circle of friends whose lives come together there.
