" Medical students begin to explore the realm of near death experiences, hoping for insights. Each has their heart stopped and is revived. They begin having flashes of walking nightmares from their childhood, reflecting sins they committed or had committed against them. The experiences continue to intensify, and they begin to be physically beaten by their visions as they try and go deeper into the death experience to find a cure. " Director: Joel Schumacher His 6th Movie My 13th movie watched from the director This is one of the popular movies that came out when I was a kid and have been interested in since its release... finally getting to see it. It didn't disappoint in that it was so of its time and felt very early 90s. Schumacher was good at making broad movies, even if none of them were excellent. " Date: 1/31/2019 Viewed: Netflix Re-watch I haven't seen this movie in the last 20 years since I was a kid and decided to rewatch it. I still enjoy the movie despite its flaws. The story can be a bit messy at times, but I really do like the characters in this movie. I also like the atmosphere that the movie has as well. Worth checking out if you never seen it before. I also have no plans on seeing the remake that came out over a year ago."
