As Captain Lee Crane aboard the submarine Seaview, Hedison commanded a loyal and capable crew on adventures around the world. Probably my first main "crush" other than the characters of less mature shows.

Napoleon Solo was my next crush. I was 8 years old and probably looked at him as a "romantic crush" which endeared him to me at the time.

As Alexander Mundy, Wagner headed a light spy thriller show with very little in the way of reality, but which had a streak of fun running through it.
hyphenate's rating:
Kelly Robinson was a more serious minded spy of the 60s, with a more dramatic show and more weighty episodes. As I Spy was one of the first regular series to film on location, the show had a glamourous element that it never lost.
hyphenate's rating:
Who didn't have a crush on James Kirk? Captain Kirk was handsome, dashing, and strongly principled. Over the years, that really never changed.
hyphenate's rating:
The Wild Wild West and Black Sheep Squadron alike cast Conrad in heroic roles which suited him well. Brash, but with a committed attitude, James West was a member of the Secret Service, and Pappy Boyington s loyal officer and pilot.

I was a little young when Chris George was on Rat Patrol, but then he went on to a 13 week series called The Immortal." I was much more able to appreciate his charms and good looks, as he played a man whose blood could keep him alive indefinitely. He was chased around by this nasty millionaire who wanted him to be a test subject to keep himself alive indefinitely.
hyphenate's rating:
The original "Dan-O" from 5.0, James McArthur was a genial sort who could fight crime and disorder all without the complications of technology!

I admit I had the biginning of a crush way back when Gene did Amos Burke in Burke's Law, but it wasn't until The Name of the Game when I became a real fan. The Name of the Game has turned over the years into one of my absolute all-time favorites, but sadly, not a lot of people remember much about it.

Obviously not a complete list by any means! Just my favorites over the years, up to my current faves!
Note: There are some names not listed, primarily because they're not in the database. Stuart Damon, William Gaunt and Peter Haskell are three of them.
