I discovered Phantogram this year and they quickly became one of the best discoveries of the year for me. "Memory of a Day" is a magnificent album, and "Come Alive" is one my favorite songs of the year.

I was kinda lukewarm on Ceremony at first, maybe because I listened to too many singles. But it's really grown on me. Love Me Now, Let Me Down, Gaunt Kids and Ceremony are highlights if you ignore the BANGERS that are Pedestal and Mister Impossible. Dear God is just another example of their signature sampling. Definitely feels like they're maturing and will have many more years of good music, which makes me so happy. :)

I still don't like "Three", it feels more poppy and less Phantogram-y (whatever that means) than everything they did before. Here's hope the next one will put the band back on track, their previous albums are great!
