Amy is an ACA and the CEO and founder of OnPoint Learning, a financial training company delivering
training to financial professionals. She is an investment banking instructor with nearly 20
years of experience teaching analysts, associates, and senior management within financial
institutions how to be more effective at their jobs.
Amy’s client list includes recognized Wall Street names as well as educational institutions and non-profit organizations. Amy’s specialisms are accounting, valuation, credit and financial modeling, and Excel training, which draws on her background in corporate finance. Amy’s classes are always practical, interactive and reflect the experience of daily working life. Tutorials and lessons are conducted at the computer,
building models, using Excel, and solving problems real-time and with real-company data.
Amy teaches continuing professional development classes as well as exam prep courses for
the CFA qualification test and she has taught in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, across The
Middle East, and in more than 15 North American cities.
As well as teaching in the classroom, Amy is an accomplished author of academic texts,
having written publications and contributed to accounting and investment banking

Education
Amy's career in professional education began after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. She has a degree in architecture from the University of Liverpool.
