A floating bridge set up at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam was inaugurated by Rajya Sabha MP YV Subba Reddy on Sunday. However, the bridge, set up to serve as new tourist attraction and extending 100 feet in the sea, met with a brief mishap just a day later. On Monday, a section of the floating bridge broke away, floating away into the sea. Videos from the beach showed the blue and orange coloured platform floating away further into the water.
Fortunately, no one was standing on the platform when it broke away and floated into the sea.
One of the two cheetahs released in the open forest of Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park walked out of the forest and reached a residential area in Sheopur. Authorities are yet to confirm which one of the two cheetahs, Agni or Yavu, this is. The cheetah spotted near an urban area was captured on camera by a passersby on his mobile phone.
