Kill Panther Kill (original title Kommissar X – Drei blaue Panther ("Commissioner X - Three Blue Panthers")) is a 1968 German-Italian-Canadian Eurospy film directed by Gianfranco Parolini (credited as Frank Kramer). It is the fifth in Kommissar X franchise, series of seven films about the adventures of private investigator Jo Louis Walker (Tony Kendall), also known as "Commissioner X", and his friend, New York police captain Tom Rowland (Brad Harris). In Montreal Capt. Rowland together with Canadian police hunts for a recently escaped criminal Arthur Tracy. Meanwhile Jo Walker also goes to Canada with a mission for the insurance company that wants to retrieve back a priceless jewelry, stolen by Tracy.
The following weapons were used in the film Kill Panther Kill:
Handguns
Arminius HW-1
As in other movies, Jo Walker's (Tony Kendall) personal sidearm is an Arminius HW-1 blank firing revolver. HW-1s are also seen in hands of Capt. Tom Rowland (Brad Harris), Arthur Tracy (Franco Fantasia), Elizabeth Tracy (Erika Blanc), and several of Anthony's henchmen.
Unidentified revolver (possibly a toy gun)
Smoky (a cameo of film director Gianfranco Parolini, credited as Frank Kramer) uses a revolver in several scenes. It distantly resembles K-frame or N-frame S&W revolvers but upon a closer examination appears to be rather some blank firing or even a toy gun. Same lookling revolvers are used by some of Anthony's henchmen during the shootout on the construction yard and by a police officer in the opening scene.
Unidentified pistol (possibly a toy gun)
Anthony (Siegfried Rauch) carries a pistol that distantly resembles a Luger P08. When firing, it produces only some light grey smoke but no muzzle flash, and no part of the pistol ever moves, so it's possibly a toy gun. Same looking pistol is also used by one of Anthony's henchmen during the shootout on the construction yard.
Rifles
Bolt Action Sniper Rifle 1
In the opening scene Anthony (Siegfried Rauch) uses a sniper rifle.
TOZ-18
In the opening scene Smoky (director Gianfranco Parolini) uses a TOZ-18 .22 caliber sniper rifle with PO1 scope.
Unidentified rifle
In the opening scene a police officer is armed with a rifle that is seen very unclear.
Other Weapons
Feltman Pneumatic BB Sub Machine Gun
In the scene on a fair Jo Walker (Tony Kendall) is seen with a Feltman Pneumatic BB Sub Machine Gun.
Harpoon Gun
In one scene a pair of hitmen (Giuseppe Mattei and Fortunato Arena) tries to assassinate Jo Walker with spear guns.
