Famed Canadian rapper Drake has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding the state of rap music, confidently asserting that the genre will never fade away.

During a recent conversation with popular American streamer Adin Ross, the “Rich Baby Daddy” hitmaker responded to Ross’s bold claim that “rap is dead.”

Drake dismissed the statement, saying, “It’ll never die. It was a weird NBA season. New season starts in 5 days.”
