Sir Bobby Robson Bridge

The 60m Sir Bobby Robson Footbridge opened in Aug 2009. It spans the River Orwell connecting Ranelagh Road with West End Road and the football stadium. The 'cable stayed bridge' cost around £800,000 and was funded by the property developer Fairview.
The bridge is named after the ex Ipswich, Newcastle United and England football manager, who died in 2009.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
