I doubt that the tiles are Burmantofts. The pottery developed from a coal mine where they found clay and started producing bricks and pipes in 1858. The production of "architectural faience" started later in the 1880's. Apparently the arch was built ready for Victoria's visit in 1858. Although the tiles could have been added later, its unlikely that they would have been added over 20 years later.
