This path is the extension of the north side nature trail, and continues to join the road at the head of Kinloch Glen. It was, however, becoming very wet underfoot because this section has not yet been drained and developed.

Tree cover diminishes with distance up the glen. The map shows the path joining the track to Kilmory near the junction with the Harris track, though the path here was becoming sketchy in places.
