Album review - Ludovic Bource: The Artist Soundtrack

If you haven’t heard of The Artist yet don’t worry, you will.

A new silent movie about the golden age of Hollywood, it’s set to sweep the Oscars and become one of the big movies of the year. Being a silent or mute movie the music is all-important.

Director Michel Hazanavicius has stuck with his usual musical collaborator Bource who has come up with a soundtrack that harks back to the glory days of Chaplin and Buster Keaton while bringing sweeping orchestral pieces in for good measure.
