It's no surprise that JAMF (James Alexander Malcolm Fraser to be exact) is often considered one of the best parts about Outlander.
A rugged Highland Warrior, Jacobite, Romantic, and doting father, he's considered to be the quintessential Scottish gentleman and Sam Heughan's portrayal has been rightly praised.
From season one as a young Highlander navigating a conflict with British Government forces to moving halfway across the world to start a new life as an older man and well, navigating a conflict with British Government forces, it's been one of the most exciting parts of the show watching him grow as a person.
But which version of our red-headed hero is your favourite?
Season 1
From riding horses in kilts to becoming the perfect groom, Jamie goes through a lot in season one but many consider their first brush with him as a young warrior to be their favourite.
Season 2
A much more pristine version of Jamie is presented in season two as the gang embrace the luxuries of French society living.
Season 3
Suffering from the aftermath and Culloden and the loss of Claire we find Jamie to be a much more reflective and contemplative character in season 3.
Season 4
Trying a home for him and Claire in colonial America, season 4's Jamie is a much surer and stronger person – though the arrival of Bree changes him once again.
Season 5
Season 5 saw Jamie become a leader and defender of his family and friends as he deals with his conflict over Murtagh and the growing Regulator threat.
Season 6
A more mature and settled Jamie has taken to the role of patriarch for the Fraser Ridge Clan and it really shows.
