COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Purdue was the last Big Ten team to beat Ohio State and on Nov. 13, the Buckeyes will get a chance for redemption Nov. 13 in their second-to-last home game.
The game is set for a 3:30 kickoff inside Ohio Stadium on ABC.
The Buckeyes’ 49-20 loss in West Lafayette, Indiana, derailed their 2018 season and cost them a spot in the College Football Playoff. That loss came primarily at the hands of freshman wide receiver Rondale Moore, who caught 12 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Moore, now in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, also added 24 rushing yards, 39 yards as a kick returner and 9 on a punt return.
It was the first time in five years that the two teams had played each other.
Ohio State leads the overall series 39-15-2, but because of the vacated 2010 win, Purdue is the only Big Ten program with a winning record over the Buckeyes since 2009. All three wins have come at home.
