For the Karu packaging, I aimed to create an identity that captures the essence of delicious, healthy instant ramen while visually playing with the meaning of its name—Kāru, Japanese for "curl." This concept of curls is woven throughout the design, from the logo to the playful shapes that evoke the familiar twist of ramen noodles. The colors bring a fresh, modern appeal, ensuring Karu stands out on the shelf and instantly catches the eye. Each element was crafted to communicate both the authenticity of Japanese ramen culture and the tasty yet healthy quality of the product, making Karu not only visually captivating but also inviting and accessible to customers seeking wholesome, flavorful food.
