PRISMA has been impressing the Danish music scene since 2021 with the release of their EP, ‘Inside Out’, featuring songs like ‘I Never Wanted To Meet You’, ‘Drive’, and ‘Bangs’. This success has led to remarkable performances both domestically and internationally, as well as the reception of several awards– a DMA (Danish Music Award), and a Carl Prize. The two sisters, Frida and Sirid, grew up in Odense, where as teenagers in 2014, they started making music together. They swiftly developed a distinctive sound, drawing inspiration from Agnes Obel, The Raveonettes, and Trentemøller, forming the foundation for a unique musical universe. Their sound is characterized by Nordic minimalism, noisy guitars, electronic landscapes, and beautiful vocal harmonies.
