Santino Bontempo

The name Bontempo comes from Old Italian and is the combination of bono, ‘good’, plus tempo, ‘time’, something that's key as a DJ, but perhaps more importantly, the ability to facilitate sum of its roots into a 'good time' – Santino has this. A Florida transplant originally from Cleveland, he studied Recording Arts at Full Sail University in Orlando. His first foray into music is the same as many a young angst- ridden teenager, singing and playing guitar in a punk rock band. Moving from the garage and into basements, he picked up dance music in a literally and structurally underground house environment, falling deeply in love with the more progressive sounds. Today, his heart and mind is firmly rooted in a common ground between house and techno with interest
