Johann de Beers

Johann de Beers is a DJ and producer. His musical roots extend on the one hand into independent dark rock, melancholic gothic, post-punk, and church music. On the other hand, they are anchored in the sounds of the 80s, house, pop-art music, Indian music, as well as his training in cello and piano schools and personal experiments. The main themes repeat but vary slightly through the use of new sounds in a balanced sound spectrum. The messages remain the same. This continuity is enabled by the continuous development of new instruments and effects, which, for him, define the character of techno.
