Throughout her journey as an artist, the Derry-born producer and DJ has consistently strived to escape categorisation attracting a strong fan base and gaining her a BBC Radio 1 Residency, an Essential mix, and ‘Best DJ’ award from DJ Mag. From running DIY parties in abandoned shops whilst studying in Liverpool, to securing some of the best club residences around the world, Or:la's story has been as organic and authentic as they get. Fast forward from her debut EP 'UK Lonely' on Hotflush Recordings in 2017, Or:la has collaborated on a broad range of remixes spanning David Holmes/Killing Eve's "Unloved" band to remixes released on more dance floor focused labels like Spray and Woozy in between - all collaborations within her native Irish scene.
