Jason Short

A product of the burgeoning American Underground of the late 90s and early 00s, Jason Short aka Sol Glissant has been moving dance floors discerning listeners alike for the better half of the last two decades. Championing a bold contemporary sound, Short’s, dense and heavily-layered sound, is punctuated by rich harmonic contrasts and hefty bass surprises. Employing an electronic music education he earned as a contributor to many of dance music’s most important North American locales, during some of their essential eras, Jason Short’s story begins with an early childhood introduction to pushing buttons and playing instruments.
