The Mollusk

The Mollusk aka Shane Vigo started back in 2007 as a solo project. "Breaking convention" is Mollusk's middle name, constantly pushing forward to create a new and interesting sound. These include recordings of a spray can underwater for “synth’s”, circuit bending toys for “bass lines” and wet towels thrown at a brick wall for “snare’s”, among hundreds of other hair brain & fun ideas to create sound art. After recording these sounds, a select few are re-worked in the studio to become huge bass line, synthesis, percussion and other quirky re-creations designed to blow the minds of punters at The Mollusk’s legendary live sets.Those prepared to dive into the dance floor will certainly get much more than they bargain for.
