Lexus RC Rumored to Get Brand's First Turbo Engine
Trademark filings hinted that the production version of the Lexus LF-CC concept will be called the RC, and now it’s rumored that the luxury coupe will be the first from the Toyota luxury division to sport a turbocharged engine.
According to one report the RC could see production as early as next year, with three versions available: RC 200t, RC 300h, and RC 350.

The RC 200t will employ a new, turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine, while the 300h hybrid will use the same powertrain that appears in the ES300h and the IS 300h, which recently debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The RC 350 will be the popular V6 engine found in the current Lexus IS 350.
Also rumored is a high-performance RC-F model to replace the outgoing IS-F. It’ll be powered by the same V8 engine with 416 hp, but won’t be released until late 2015.
